"Then Came Love" by Jackie Carpenter, is a painting depicting the kind of loneliness experienced by those of us who are labeled as different, strange, abnormal for what ever reason. The groups who once were friends and family suddenly cast us out. When life seems at its darkest there are groups of people like us and they reach out their hand to us. We aren't alone anymore.
